Tim Hemer, the founder of TrooperKat Fitness®, developed his passion for physical fitness back in 1959. By the summer of 1964, at the age of 19, he opened his first gym in Los Angeles. Initially focused on martial arts training, Tim provided private instruction to actors and athletes as interest in martial arts was on the rise in America. ... After coaching bodybuilders like Ray Routledge, who won the AAU Mr. America competition in 1961, Tim started weight training himself in 1967 and has been dedicated to it ever since. With his extensive and diverse experience in the fitness industry, Tim noticed a shift in his clients' needs over time. He realized that there was a lack of fitness centers catering specifically to the aging population. This realization led to the creation of TrooperKat Fitness®, where specially-trained personal instructors help seniors and individuals of all ages achieve their fitness goals in a personalized and supportive environment.
